Ramble Co. A brand born in the hills

Athena’s guidebook was hugely successful, and we continued to work with her to build a brand around Ramble. Athena wanted a mark that would sit alongside the typography she had created and that could be used across digital platforms and on physical products.

We wanted to create something unique and handmade. Something that would speak of what the brand was.

Our starting point was to go to the place where it all began–The Peak District–to source our inspiration for the next chapter of the project. We went out to the hills and sat on top of Mam Tor to sketch the wonderful curves and lines of Kinder Scout in the distance.

Back at the Off Grid Studio, we used our drawings to sketch, paint, linocut and print these marks to create the final design. We built out the brand further, exploring supporting fonts, colourings and assets–giving Ramble Co. the tools to continue to create a strong and cohesive brand.
